Sergio Berensztein

Presidente y Director General

Doctor and Master in Political Science (the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) and Bachelor of History (UBA). He is the chairman and CEO of Berensztein (Berensztein.com), a political and strategic analysis consultancy he founded in 2014 with a regional and comparative perspective using rigorous and innovative research methods, traditional (qualitative and quantitative) investigation and big data.

Sergio co-authored the books Dueños del éxito (CPCE, 2017), Los beneficios de la libertad (Ateneo, 2016), 125 Años del Banco Nación (Banco Nación, 2016), El poder narco (Sudamericana, 2014), Los 100 años de Deloitte en Argentina 1908-2008 (Deloitte, 2008)

José María Ghio

Executive Director

Historian and political analyst with a PhD from Columbia University (NYC), author of numerous pieces on public administration and state reform. He was Sr. Specialist in Goberment and Social Development at The World Bank also served as Consultant at the BID and UNDP. He is founder of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Bs. As.), where he stood as Vice Chancellor for a decade. As professor and researcher he visited various highly esteemed international schools, such as the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University; the Kennedy School of Government and Graduate School of Education, Harvard University; the Kellogg Institute, University of Notre Dame; Universita de Bologna, Universita di Pavia and CIDE Mexico, among others. He is also founder and Executive Director of Pent Foundation.

He is currently working as Executive Director at Berensztein® consulting firm and as Director of Southern Corn Group.

Gabriela Sanguineti

Director of Operations & IR

Coach and Master in Neurolinguistic Programming (The Society of NLP). She studied Communication Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires and graduated as a Medical Propaganda Agent at the National University of El Salvador. She is a Certified Expert Analyst in Social Media Analytics and Big Data. She is also a specialist in the drafting of notarial documents with the qualification of the Colegio de Escribanos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (Association of Notaries of the City of Buenos Aires).
In 2014, together with Sergio, they founded Berensztein®, where she is responsible for the administrative, commercial, operational and functional areas, especially the Analytics and Big Data Unit. Firmly committed to the delivery and quality of our products, Gabriela manages a large flow of projects whilst also providing continual motivation to the team and guaranteeing customer satisfaction. She has extensive experience in event and conference management in both the private and academic sectors, specializing in planning and logistics.

She has over 15 years of proven experience as PA to the Board of Directors (BoD) of several companies. In 2009, she joined Poliarquía Consultores as assistant to the BoD, and went on to assume her current role as PA to the founder and CEO Sergio Berensztein in 2012. Gabriela is responsible for the administrative, commercial, operational and functional areas of Berensztein®.

Firmly committed to the delivery and quality of our products, Gabriela manages a large flow of projects whilst also providing continual motivation to the team and guaranteeing customer satisfaction. She has extensive experience in event and conference management in both the private and academic sectors, specializing in planning and logistics.

Mariano Turzi

Senior Consultant

Ph.D. in International Studies from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University. In Washington, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies and worked at Stratfor Consulting as an analyst in strategic intelligence and scenario planning. He was also a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), in the area of modernization of the State, later in Institutional Capacity. There he worked on projects related to the strengthening of state capacities for regional integration and international insertion. He teaches at New York University and Di Tella University (Department of Political Science and International Studies and Business School). There he also directs the Asia Pacific Program, where he studies the impacts of global reconfiguration of emerging markets and rising powers.
He is the author of "Mundo BRICS", the first book published in Argentina on the subject, and of "Everything you need to know about the World (Dis)Order” (Paidós, 2017), his most recent book. He has written books on different aspects of world affairs in Argentina and the United States and has published articles in specialized channels and magazines in Latin America, the United States, Korea and China. He is one of the main national academic references on China's relations with Argentina and Latin America.

Roxana Juiz Ferro

Associate Consultant

Sociologist and a Sociology Teacher, graduated from Buenos Aires University (UBA). She holds postgraduate studies in Social Science in CEDEF.
In 1995 she founded JF y Asociados, a consulting firm whose scope of action focuses on Market Research, Public Opinion, Mass Media, Social Investigation and Public Policies. It brings together an interdisciplinary team, highly qualified in design and execution of different types of investigation studies and techniques.

For over 20 years she developed in JF y Asociados as Director of Qualitative and Quantitative Projects, creating methodological design and specific analysis, custom-made for every client. Moreover, she coordinated several fieldworks and research projects for leading brands and main agencies of the sector, such as ACNielsen, GfK and Poliarquía Consultores. In 2015 she joined Berensztein® as an external consultant.

Juan Pedro Brandi

Associate Consultant

Bachelor's degree in Economics from the National University of La Plata (UNLP) and a Master's degree in International Studies from the Torcuato di Tella University.
He works as a consultant in various public and private organizations, having the responsibility of directing and coordinating various projects. He is an associate at Estudio Chinen, Morbelli y Asociados, a firm dedicated to economic analysis and development strategy, focusing on organizational, market and internationalization strategy studies. Moreover, he is the Executive Director of Brandi y Asociados. With more than 15 years of experience, he has dedicated himself to advising companies, technology centers, educational institutions and governments on microeconomic issues with a focus on innovation, technological development and organizational capabilities.
He also has a Specialization in University Teaching from the National University of La Plata. He has devoted himself to teaching at the UNLP, at the Foreign Service Institute of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the School of Continuing Education of the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. In addition, he is a researcher in the Department of International Economic Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the UNLP.

Alejandro Semán

Analyst

Holds a Degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires and is currently completing a Master's Degree in International Economic Relations at the School of Economics of the University of Buenos Aires.
Between 2009 and 2016, he worked as an Analyst and later as Account Executive in different insurance companies, contributing to strengthening the bond with preferential clients, providing specialized advice. In 2017 he joined CIPPEC as Research Assistant of the Public Management Program, where he participated in several projects, of which "GPS del Estado" stands out, where he researched issues related to the management of government resources, contributing to dimension the size and structure of the National Public Sector to improve social accountability.
In 2018 he joins the Berensztein® team as an Analyst, dedicating himself to research, analysis and generation of contents inherent to the political and economic environment, at the national, regional and international levels.

Luisana Linares

Social Networks and Big Data Analyst

Has a degree in Digital Information Strategy and Design from the Universidad de Los Andes (Venezuela) and is a Software Development student at the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Empresarial Argentino (ISTEA). She is also a Certified Expert Analyst in Social Media Analytics and Big Data.
She currently works as Social Networks and Big Data Analyst at Berensztein®, from where she measures and analyzes different phenomena, whether political or social, through the flow of conversations generated in the network, whether from specific events, daily topics of public interest, political campaigns or consumption with the aim of understanding, analyzing, segmenting and quantifying in order to offer strategic solutions.

Celina Carstens

Executive Assistant to the Board of Directors

Holds a degree in Public Relations from Palermo University (UP), where she was distinguished with Cum Laude’s Diploma of Honor.

Her past experience as a freelance both in events and in communicational and image projects has allowed her to develop solid communication and organization skills. She has also served as an assistant professor for Communicational Theory at UP and as a volunteer for CIPPEC.

She is currently Assistant Director at Berensztein®, where she coordinates the Board of Directors’ agenda and activities. She also represents an effective link between us and our clients and is responsible for the logistics in events and conferences in both private and academic fields.

Daliana Rangel

Assistant

Lawyer graduated from Universidad de los Andes (Venezuela). During 2013 she completed internships at the Main Registry of Merida (public agency belonging to the Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries) where she served as assistant in the area of protocolizations, legalizations, margin notes, as well as in the handling of files and new applications. Between 2014 and 2016 she served as an assistant to a candidate for deputy of the National Assembly of Venezuela, then elected alternate deputy.
Until 2017 she worked as a private lawyer and as an activist for the NGO LIDDES (Freedom, Rights and Social Development), of which she was a member of the board of directors, giving lectures and raising awareness about Human Rights, as well as public policies and democratic values.
Since 2018, she works as an assistant at Berensztein ® in the areas of general and administrative assistance, logistics and strategic procurement.
